Digital Material Fabrication Processes Advanced Robotics provides an opportunity to explore cutting-edge computational techniques and fabrication technologies in a seminar/supervised lab format. The course coveres a range of topics related to robotics and material fabrication, and builds upon the basic skills introduced in tutorials at the beginning of the semester to develop an advanced understanding of these concepts. The project involves using a pellet extruder on a Kuka robot arm to print in PETG. 

Through this project, we were able to explore the potential of PETG as a material for 3D printing and other applications, as well as learning how to program the robot arm (using SuperMatter Tools) to create complex shapes and structures. Overall, this course provides with valuable hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and helps develop a range of skills that are relevant to a variety of fields, from architecture to product design.
