The project “Box of Freedom” aspires to showcase the concept of flexibility and intricacy in its aesthtics. The main idea of the design is to combine three different piece to form a single unit of box inspired by the main idea. In the design process concepts of Solid and Void, Grasshopper Voronoi was used. The abstract pattern on each piece was designed to create an interesting play of light and shadow on the exterior spaces using interior light effects.















DESIGN DEVELOPMENT/MORPHOLOGY






In this design we tried to use intricate patterns. So thickness given for internal design was about 0.1 inch (min). Based on the interplay of solid and void, the tabs were created accordingly based on the thickness of the material. So, minimalistic tabs were created with continous pattern of cuts for easy folding.
